Hand wash cold, inside out, to protect thread and zari work. Avoid soaking or wringing.
Luxury & Formal Suits
Dry clean only for heavy embroidery, beadwork, or stone work. Inform the dry cleaner of embellishment type.
Washing — Lawn & Cotton
Wash separately from other colors. Mild detergent, cold or lukewarm water only — hot water causes shrinkage.
Ironing
Medium heat for lawn/cotton, low heat for silk and chiffon. Iron embroidered pieces inside out only.
Drying
Air dry flat in shade, never in direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
Storage
Store in breathable garment bags with padded hangers. Use tissue paper between embroidered layers.
Stain Removal
Blot, don't rub. Use cold water and mild detergent, or take to a professional dry cleaner.
Dupatta Care
Chiffon/silk — dry clean or gentle hand wash. Lawn/cotton — cold hand wash. Air dry flat, iron on low heat.
